Actually, genuinely a thing this mega trailer does well is make all the incarnations of the Doctor feel like the same character being followed. A lot of videos kinda can't quite pull that off very well 'cos in isolation they seem very different, well done.

So they took a page from Disney’s book with The Rise of Palpatine and showed a bunch of stuff from the past to make dumb dumbs get all up in their feels. Rather than showing what the new crew has to offer. Betcha I can guess why.
